Academic Qualifications
I am a double-major in Mathematics & Compnuter Science, with a 3.94 GPA.
I have credits equivalent to all the classes I tutor, either at the UofA, Pima, or through AP tests.
Tutoring Experience
I spent 200 hours tutoring K12 students in the STEMM Tutoring Program.
I took a math-education course as part of this (paid) position.
I was the Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Math 415B, Abstract Algebra in Spring 2025.
This involves holding weekly office hours, grading, and departmental calculus tutoring.
Limitations
In my experience Zoom tutoring is much less effective than in-person tutoring (and less fun 😉).
However, if necessary I can do it.
I have also taken Statistics, DiffEqs, and Physics, but I am weaker in those subjects.
(*) If you can not afford my standard rate, I am happy to negotiate a reduced fee.
(**) I can not help you write computer code due to the CS department's strict interpretation of Academic Integrity.
Doing math related to CS is fine (so CSC 144/244/345 are mostly unaffected by this).
Other departments besides Computer Science are not affected by this restriction.
